ISO Awareness Seminar (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, TS 16949, OHSAS 18000, ISO 22000)
Intended at explaining the requirements of the ISO 9001 International Standard, this two-day seminar cum workshop shall provide a working knowledge to participants on how to start their companys' Quality Management System towards the goal of achieving ISO 9001 certification. Explanations of requirements are based on the approved interpretation of the International Registry of Certificated Auditors (IRCA) of London. Documentation to ISO Standards
One of the basic requirements of the ISO International Standard is the documentation of the company’s Quality Manual and Procedures. In this seminar, participants shall be able to identify what type of documentation is suitable for their company taking into consideration the culture of the company and the competency level of the employees. The proper system to be adopted in controlling documents and records as required by the standard shall be tackled. Internal Quality Audit
Another requirement of any ISO International Standard, the Internal Quality Audit is considered as the backbone of a good Quality Management System. The first two days of the seminar is a combination of lecture and workshops intended at providing the participants the theory and simulation of how to conduct an effective systems audit. The third day is devoted to practicum that is aimed at giving the participants the feel and actual experience of how an audit is done. An examination is also given at the end of the seminar to determine the participants’ preparedness of conducting an audit. The knowledge and skill gained from the seminar may also be applied in evaluating suppliers/sub-contractors performance. Statistical Process Control
The course objective is to define the concept of process control and the principles of variation. Participants will be provided with the knowledge on how to control and manage variation and how to construct and interpret control charts. Also included in the course is the determination of process capability and how to improve the capability of a process. 5 S of Good Housekeeping
The seminar tackles the old Japanese principle of ensuring good housekeeping as a tool for increased efficiency and productivity in the workplace.
